LaQuisha Hall is a force to be reckoned with as she has dedicated her life to serving her community and has been recognized by great leaders including President Barack Obama and others. She has won multiple state and national pageantry competitions, currently reigning as Mrs. Maryland International 2023, expanding her reach as she teaches and advocates internationally for domestic violence, sexual abuse and suicide prevention. As an artist, LaQuisha educates international communities on various forms of art and leads the #RevealYourTeal and #RestoreYourRoyalty abuse prevention campaigns through her brand, Confident Canvas. Formerly, LaQuisha served as the international spokesperson and a board member for Stop the Silence: Stop Child Sexual Abuse, later becoming a co-author of the book, Stop the Silence, alongside Dr. Pamela J. Pine. LaQuisha founded the SheRose Awards to offer a platform to abuse survivors to share their own stories. Beginning her skills in mentoring at age 16, she also spent hours locally and abroad mentoring via Queendom T.E.A. (The Etiquette Academy), committed to encouraging and teaching teen girls about personal safety, etiquette and positive self-esteem. She is the award-nominated and best-selling author of memoir, Unholy Communion, a self-esteem journal for young girls, Positively Bodyful, and the coauthor of more than 10 additional books. LaQuisha is a proud educator and coach, serving youth and teacher leaders in Baltimore City Public Schools for 20 years and winning Teacher of the Year in 2018.
