A new year is upon us. Life and the genealogy world is getting back to normal. Yayyyy. I have several exciting projects in the works or planned. Stay tuned and thanks for supporting my books. I recently released a series of journals for genealogists to help to capture and retain their notes while doing research away from the comfort of their home computer. Full of formatted pages, these help you remember what information to make note of. They also contain a series of forms in the back to record your known information on family group sheets and other formats. Nothing is more frustrating than when you are in a library conducting research and you can't remember what you already know. Many of my books, including the KwikGuide series, offer easy-to-follow steps for dating old photographs, which assists family historians and genealogists in determining who the people are in those old pictures. In addition, I authored a series on archive photography, gravestone photography, and care of slides and negatives. These best sellers compliment the recent works on the Grand Army of the Republic and Cemetery and Gravestone Research, including how to clean old gravestones I have been a photographer and graphics designer for more years than I will admit. I began collecting, researching, documenting, and writing about 19th century history and photography for more than 20 years ago.
