Barbara Tricarico has produced a photographic book series on the state of Oregon, including six regional books ("Southern Oregon", "Central Oregon", "Eastern Oregon", "Willamette Valley", "Oregon Coast", and "Greater Portland") as well as a coffee-table book entitled "Oregon." In addition, she compiled two coffee-table books: "Ashland, Oregon" and "Ashland, Oregon Day Trips". All nine of these hard-covered books feature Barbara's own work, as well as photos from over 50 of Southern Oregon's best photographers.

While living and working in Northern Virginia, Barbara Tricarico also co-authored and photographed the book "Quilts of Virginia: 1607-1899" for the Virginia Consortium of Quilters.

Barbara received a BA degree in English from George Mason University and an MA degree from Gallaudet University. A former English teacher, she delighted in adding Shakespearean quotes to her "Ashland, Oregon" book, colorful descriptions to her "Ashland Day Trips" and "Oregon" books, and historical facts to "Quilts of Virginia."

A friend once said that photographs are never taken--they're given. Barbara feels her books are gifts to every person who opens her books' covers.
