Born in 1951, I'm a Baby Boomer and since the days of dealerships covering showroom windows before each new year model was unveiled, I have been a lover of old iron. My interest took me into the marketing and sales of classic cars all over the world as the General Manager of a classic car dealership. Today, my interest lies in preserving old car stories and I was presented with an "Outstanding Automotive Historian" award at the 2015 Washington State Hot Rod Hall of Fame awards banquet. I started The Old Car Nut Book by writing my own stories and I am including a few of them in these books, but I have more stories to share and so do the rest of the old car nuts in America. The Old Car Nut Book series is my way of sharing with other Old Car Nuts. It is also my way of reaching out to younger generations of car nuts that are beginning their journeys and fulfilling their dreams. Here are the stories of the people that paved the road ahead. As these first books gain popularity, stories will continue to be gathered and more editions put into print. The response from current contributors, potential contributors and others, anxious to read these stories, has been tremendous. You can be in an upcoming edition by sending your story in now.
