Taryn Chase Jackson’s writing has been published in Southern Living, Guide to Phone Apps magazine, The Laurel of Asheville, The Roanoke Times, the New River Voice, and the Chautauquan Daily, and she's edited for AdventureKEEN, EKB Ink, Better Homes and Gardens, and Brevity magazine.
Taryn has also conducted workshops on writing memoir and creative nonfiction essays, grant-writing for nonprofits, and social media marketing for small businesses. In 2005, Taryn earned her MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College and now works as a grant writer for Elevate. In 1997, she attended the Summer Publishing Institute at New York University. Taryn was born and raised in Western New York and now lives in Northwest Alabama with her husband and two dogs. She's also an exhibiting artist working in collage and mixed media.
