Peter Ratzan

Peter Ratzan has been helping students prepare for college for more than two decades. He and Jill (his wife and better half) founded College Funding Specialists, Inc., a full service college planning office almost 9 years ago.

Pete and Jill write a weekly college planning column, have co-authored two books on the business of higher education and their 'Thick Envelope Magic', College Admissions and Application curriculum for rising 12th graders is in its 9th edition. Peter is also a frequent lecturer on the state of higher education today, and a nationally-recognized expert in making college affordable for 'forgotten' middle class families.

Peter and Jill are also the parents of a very stressed out 11th grader and a 7th grader. Like you, they're also on the college planning clock, and very much, understand what your family is going through. Their practice and programs are dedicated to providing regular families access to independent (as in, unbiased) college planning guidance so that they can experience both the JOY of sending their child to their dream school and the RELIEF that comes with knowing that they could comfortably AFFORD to do so.
