Tommy Ray

Born in rural Mississippi, Tommy Ray grew up with a desire to write books, sing songs and explore the world. And so he has. Tommy has since written three non-fiction Travel Memoirs. These are: Rambling Across America A Quest For St James Footsteps Along the West Highland Way These travel books all have a similar theme: Tommy is working a day job, heart not into it, so quits and goes on an adventure not only to experience the trip but, hopefully, the trip teaches him new life lessons. Tommy Ray became an author to create value and inspiration for the world. He desires all to leave their mark, emphasizing that you should not take this life for granted. Having always been inspired by travel adventure tales of real-life journeys, Tommy firmly believes that you should never give up on your dreams. Tommy’s always had a voice inside of him telling him to live his life through creativity. For many years, he ignored the voice to follow other endeavors, but the voice was always there and increasing in volume. As Tommy loves to travel, write, compose songs and perform them he decided that the artist’s way was the one in which he desired to spend his life. To add to his oeuvre, he recently created the Amid the Blackness series. These are a series of short stories which fall in the suspense/horror fiction category. So far Tommy has published the first 3 stories in Amid the Blackness – Mirror Of Perception, The Insane Inside, Feast Of The Werewolf. All are available on Amazon Kindle. Tommy writes and sings his own original songs and has been intent on doing so ever since when he was an infant at a Georgia kindergarten: here he stood up and announced to his classmates and teacher that he wanted to grow up to “drive trucks, drink beer and sing country songs.” His priorities may have changed somewhat but his desire to sing remains true.
