Kenneth Perry

关于作者

Kenneth Perry was born in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, spent eight years in the United States Air Force. He lived most of his life in southern New Hampshire, before moving back to Florida. He has visited all of the 50 United States in addition to many European countries, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Canada. Although he had done a lot of traveling, he had never really explored all the natural beauty and resources here in the United States. So in 2014, he visited six National Parks and the new adventure began. In 2015 both Ken and Cindy worked in Glacier National Park for the season. Ken was a Red Bus Driver and Cindy a concierge at Lake Mc Donald Lodge. Both Ken and Cindy are Certified Interpretive Guides (CIG) through the National Association of Interpretation, which is the same certification some of the Rangers have. The planning guides were developed to help National Park guests be able to successfully plan a vacation by having the latest information available. To have a truly great experience at a National Park planning is required in many cases. E.g., if you show up at the Grand Canyon to take the mule ride down the canyon without booking a year in advance it probably won't happen. The planning guides contain address/phone/website information for travel (airlines and rental cars), restaurants, hotels and lodges, camping, activities, national park information, and hiking information. It also acts as a travel guide with my favorite things to do, see, and eat. We spend a significant amount of time at each park talking with locals, rangers, and others to seek out the "best of the best".
