Ken Matejka, J.D., LL.M, has been a California attorney for 34 years and is a former member of the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Lawyer Referral and Information Services. He is author of the #1 bestseller "The Lawyer's Ultimate Guide to Online Leads." For 17 years, he worked at the Lawyer Referral and Information Service of the Bar Association of San Francisco and left in 2007 to found a digital marketing company dedicated to helping lawyers and lawyer referral services get more clients through Google advertising. After seven years there as its president and CEO, he moved on to create Matejka Legal Marketing. Ken has built and managed numerous Google advertising and social media campaigns for law firms and bar associations. Over the years he has published an estimated 2 billion law-related ads through Google advertising. Matejka Legal Marketing currently provides marketing services to over 20 bar associations across the nation, as well as scores of law firms. Ken grew up in Rockford, Illinois and graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1985. Since relocating to San Francisco, he received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and his LL.M in Taxation at New York University.
