Dan Kurtzman

Dan Kurtzman is an author and lifelong photographer specializing in landscape and travel photography. Originally trained as a photojournalist, Dan seeks to create images that tell a vivid story and strives to capture the magic that can be found in ephemeral moments. He sees photography as a powerful tool for bringing people together and forging community—both through creating shared experiences and by helping to broaden perspectives. On Instagram, he has worked to build community and popular followings on his @wildnewyork, @wildbayarea, and @wildcalifornia_ accounts, where he showcases the beautiful and inspiring work of some of Instagram’s most talented artists. He is the editor of "New York City on Instagram" (Rizzoli, 2017) and the forthcoming "San Francisco on Instagram" (Rizzoli, 2019), celebrating the best Instagram photography in two of America's great cities.
