Pat Wray

Pat Wray is an award-winning freelance writer and book author. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1970, he became a Marine helicopter pilot. In 1982 he resigned his commission to become a freelance writer and photographer. In the succeeding years he was an Information Supervisor with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and an adjunct college professor, while he continued to fly with the Marine Reserves. Previous books include A Chukar Hunter's Companion and Corvallis Reflections. Gift of the Grenadier is his first novel. Pat lives in Corvallis, Oregon with his wife, Debbie, of whom it is often said, "What was she thinking?"
