Nora Sarel (pen name) has B.A.in Literature and Education, M.A. in Curriculum Development. She is an author and educator. She authored and co-authored textbooks across subjects such as language, geography, the Holocaust and life-skills and wrote numerous books.
Other experience includes an 8-year tenure producing educational films for the National Center for Special Education between 1989 and 1997.
Her publishing history includes: "Shai Can't Hear" (Hapoalim library, 1982); a children's book about a young boy with hearing impairments. "Hortensia" (Koreem library, 2010); a soulful and geographical story of a young, adopted Israeli who undertakes a backpacking journey to discover his true biological past. The story was inspired by her life in Brazil.
Three Voices (Amazon, 2017), Based on true events and deals with the Holocaust and its aftermath. It tells the story of a woman who travels far to unveil the secrets of her past life.

Nora is married, lives in Tel Aviv and is a grandmother of eight.
