Kendrick Sims, age 44 currently lives in Waterford, Michigan. From 2014-2022 he worked with Public Access television in producing Lazar & Jingles. A thirty minute live-action puppet show starring Jingles, a giraffe. Lazar, a lion. Bunson, a bear. As well as a host of other colorful characters. Most of which are animals, however some humans entered the series as well. In 2018 the television series transitioned into the world of books with the release of "The Bully." The Bully became the first story which developed into a trilogy of children's books based on the Lazar & Jingles television show. The Bully was released in January of 2018 by Page Publishing, which handles all of the Lazar & Jingles books. "Holiday Gifts," part two in the trilogy saw its release in July of 2018. The final part of "The Bully" trilogy, "Mirrors in Strange Places" was released in November of 2018. In the Fall of 2019 a second trilogy begun with the release of "Stars Cease to Shine." With the release of the new title Lazar, Jingles and Bunson were drawn into a strange new adventure featuring a very familiar and menacing foe. The second entry entitled "Backpacks and Blue Roses" was released in October 2020. The third and final act of this second trilogy, Showers of Sorrow was released in late 2021.
