Katy Halford is based in Leicestershire, UK. Her love of drawing started when she was small and continued right the way through school and University. She graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in illustration and is now a full-time illustrator. Katy's work always starts in her sketchbook where she dreams up illustrated characters and imaginary worlds. Observing nature and people watching are two of Katy's favourite sources of inspiration- she's always looking for ideas in her everyday world! Her coloured artworks are mostly digital, but from time to time she creates and scans patterns and textures to use in her work.
