J. C. Pater is a print journalist who published over three-thousand articles. She also worked for the government, taught at the university, ran a fishing club, and remodeled houses. J.C. follows a credo, "You only live once, so try everything, and have no regrets." J.C. is a history buff, a compulsive reader, an avid collector of random facts, and a world traveler who visited over twenty countries. She currently lives in a suburb of Chicago. When J.C. is not writing a new book or traveling, she is probably busy arguing with her grown sons or pampering her cats.
