As curator of the Old Milwaukee Facebook group, Adam has provided Milwaukeeans with the preservation of and access to photos and tidbits of the past which helps us appreciate the rich history of Cream City. After school, Adam found employment at K&S Photographics where he processed and developed commercial film. Despite the enjoyment he received from this line of work, he chose a different career path that resulted in putting his true passion temporarily on hold. Nearly fifteen years later, in 2012, his passion was reignited. In fact, it became an obsession. Marrying his fascination with history and love for photography, he set out on a new path. While he initially focused his rebirthed hobby on historic architecture, he incidentally discovered a new love inscribed on those walls: ghost signs. In 2016, he briefly left Milwaukee, relocating to New Jersey for approximately two years. The proximity to New York City gave him the opportunity to explore the wondrous nooks and crannies of NYC, using every adventure as another opportunity to continue honing his photography skills. When not wandering the city photographing building demolitions or newly revealed signs, one can often spot him perusing relics of the past in one of many local antique stores.
