Jasmin Schreiber

Jasmin Schreiber is a biologist, writer and one of the busiest science journalists on the Internet. When she's not conducting small expeditions to ferns and arthropods between flora and fauna, she writes her way onto the Spiegel bestseller list and brings together stories from science and nature in the bugtales.fm podcast. Here, together with Lorenz Adlung, she talks about naked mole rats, vampire bats and whale explosions. Born in Frankfurt am Main in 1988, she studied biology in Marburg, Vienna and Hamburg. "Marianengraben," Jasmin's debut novel, became a bestseller in 2020, followed by the humorously narrative nonfiction book "Abschied von Hermine," the novel "Der Mauersegler" in 2021, and her nonfiction book "Biodiversity: 100 Pages" in 2022. More nonfiction books and novels have been announced.
