Jane is an experienced grassroots organizer, manager, political strategist and nonprofit entrepreneur. She has been profiled by PBS in a film called “Blue Wind on a Red Prairie” as well as the NY Times Magazine while appearing on several MSNBC shows and Bill Maher. Rolling Stone dubbed Kleeb the "Keystone Killer" for her work organizing an unlikely alliance of farmers, ranchers, Tribal Nations and climate advocates to stop the Keystone XL pipeline. Jane Kleeb is a leader who deeply understands the need to connect issues that rural and urban communities are facing to politics in order to win elections and rebuild our nation. Jane Kleeb is the Nebraska Democratic Party Chair and also serves on the Association of State Democratic Committees and the Democratic National Committee Executive Committees. She continues to lead the Bold Alliance, a group working to protect the land and water. Jane’s previous work includes leadership positions with AmeriCorps, Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders, Young Democrats of America and MTV.
