Rachel Ollen is a children’s author, elementary school teacher, and Certified Mindfulness Instructor with a passion for teaching children and helping them achieve the goals they've set for themselves. An avid proponent of mindfulness, as well as a Children’s Yoga Teacher, Rachel believes that stories are a brilliant way of introducing children to essential concepts for wellbeing and personal growth. As a proud mother of two children, a son and a daughter, Rachel writes books that blend fun and engaging stories with universal themes of gratitude, growth mindset, resilience, mindfulness, and social and emotional skills. Throughout her 10+ years as an elementary school teacher, Rachel has worked in many different educational settings including schools with a focus on special-needs and other diverse populations. This has given her a unique appreciation for how children learn and she is dedicated to providing them with the tools they need to embrace life and thrive. Rachel has an adventurous spirit and has taken on many different roles in her career including being a TV reporter, ski instructor, radio presenter, teacher for child actors on movie sets and even a tour guide in the Italian Alps! With a passion for traveling and a desire to see the world, Rachel brings a fun and fiery flair to her stories, crafting rich and memorable experiences that will quickly make kids fall in love with them.
