Sabrina Zeif is the Midlife Food Guru, providing food inspiration for midlife, menopause and beyond. She has worked in the health and food industry for many years. She is a Registered Nutritional Therapist with the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners, Accomplished Chef, Founder of The Menopause Chef, and Ambassador for The Real Food Campaign, UK. Sabrina was born in Trinidad, a Caribbean island whose culture has food at its heart. Food and nutrition became an essential part of her life from early on and continues to be her biggest passion. Having studied in Texas for a degree in Biochemistry, life led her onto New Orleans, San Francisco, Switzerland and finally, the UK, where she learned more about cuisines around the world. Sabrina worked in the pharmaceutical industry and health education before menopause and redundancy led her to follow her passion for food and study for a diploma in nutritional therapy. Sabrina has since created The Menopause Chef, delivered talks around the UK and to NHS staff and continues to influence women as The Midlife Food Guru. Having experienced a lack of knowledge and support during her own menopause Sabrina now combines her nutrition expertise with her love for food. She helps women embrace change and guide them on how best to use good nutrition to support a positive menopause. Her ultimate passion is bringing fun and connection back to food and women’s health. Her approach is simple - celebrate and savour! Natural Menopause is her first book. Sabrina lives in the tranquil setting of Shrewsbury, Shropshire with her husband and rascal dog, Billy.
