Diane Danzebrink is on a mission to improve menopause care and support, her own experience of menopause and the effect that it had on her mental health made her acutely aware of the gaps in professional menopause education and public information, advice and support. Diane, a personal and corporate consultant, educator, speaker with professional nurse training in menopause, vowed to use her experience to ensure that she would improve the menopause landscape for the future. She is the founder of Menopause Support, a community interest company, which provides 1-1 support consultations, menopause workplace training and consultancy for businesses and organisations, a supportive online community, and lots of free resources. In 2018 she launched the national #MakeMenopauseMatter campaign and has already successfully campaigned to have menopause added to the national curriculum in England. The campaign has been influential in ensuring that all medical students will learn about menopause from 2024. She continues to campaign for mandatory menopause education for all GPs and a public health campaign for menopause, on behalf of the many thousands who have supported the campaign and the millions who will experience menopause. Diane is passionate about empowering people to improve and maintain their mental and emotional health and well-being by sharing factual, evidence based information and offering kindness, compassion and understanding along with common sense advice and support. She is regularly invited to comment on menopause, mental health and well-being in the media and has written for the Telegraph and the Guardian. Diane has contributed to the books Natural Menopause, M Boldened, Menopause conversations we all need to have, The New Hot, and Menopausing. Her first book Making Menopause Matter, the essential guide to what you need to know and why, will be published by Sheldon Press in May 2024
