Jolanda Van De Grint

I’m a ceramic artist based in The Netherlands. I graduated as an arts and craft teacher with an emphasis on ceramics in 1984. Apart from a two-year throwing course, I left ceramics for many years. During this time I used my creativity to make websites, educational material and photos. I came back to ceramics in 2006 and rediscovered my love for this material. I found new inspiration in the aesthetic of wabi-sabi and discovered alternative firing to incorporated the feel of wabi-sabi in my work.
