Shamil Rupani

Meera & Shamil Rupani are a husband and wife team based in London. Together they have created Little Mantra Books which aims to educate and inspire future generations through beautifully illustrated pictures with powerful messages. Their first book Navkar Mantra For Kids ‘My Very First Jain Prayer’ teaches children to understand the meaning of this well-known prayer and at the same time opens their eyes to the world of Jainism. As parents of a toddler, every evening before bedtime they would recite this prayer to their little girl and as a family, they would use this time to stop and reflect on their day. When they have finished whispering these sweet little prayers, and once the endless bedtime routine finally draws to a close, they usually thank God for an early bedtime themselves!
