Mark Birch

Mark Birch is an experienced courseware developer and lecturer in information systems and cyber security. Mark has been helping students attain their learning goals for over 25 years. He has been developing content for many technical and management education programs during this period. Mark has helped thousands of students to gain accreditation in a wide variety of disciplines and has successfully coached hundreds of students through CompTIA CASP certification. He began his career working as an engineer within the aerospace industry for BAe Systems (a major defense contractor), gaining a thorough understanding of industrial controls, CAD/CAM systems, design principles and Operational Technology (OT). Graduating from the University of Central Lancashire, with a BSc in Information Technology, Mark has enjoyed a long career in designing, consulting and delivering IT solutions. Mark has also gained accreditation in the following: Microsoft, CompTIA, Citrix, Novell Networking & ITIL.
