Rabbi Dr. Daniel Friedman is the founder of the Center for Torah Values. He received his PhD in International Relations from the University of Alberta and advanced rabbinical ordination semicha yadin yadin from Rav Gedalia Dov Schwartz of the Beth Din of America. He served as senior rabbi of Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue, London, the 1200-member flagship shul of Anglo Jewry, rabbi of Beth Israel the Family Shul of Edmonton, Canada, and rabbi of Newtown Synagogue, Sydney, Australia. He was the inaugural chair of the National Holocaust Monument of Canada and was a delegate to the World Holocaust Forum 2020 at Yad Vashem. His articles have appeared in The Jewish Week, Jerusalem Post, Jewish Press, Jewish Link, Jewish Journal, Haaretz, Jerusalem Report, Aish.com, National Post (Canada), OU Jewish Action and numerous other outlets. He is married to Rabbanit Batya and they have five daughters.
