William Miller worked as a consulting economist, developing and recommending solutions for greater productivity, cost improvement and value-based pricing for businesses and federal government agencies. He also taught college-level micro and macroeconomics. As a teacher, he had the opportunity to share insights and real-world experiences from his consulting work with students. He gained his PH.D. in economics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1998 with specializations in public economics and public choice theory.
