Vaela (She/They) is a polyamorous mixed Turkish/European nonbinary butch lesbian with a love for dark fantasy that involves xir personal experiences with trauma, grief, neurodivergence, queerness and disability, while still imagining ultimately beautiful worlds filled with hope. Their co-author Micah (They/Them) is a demisexual nonbinary person assisting Vaela in her work both personally, in writing, and through graphic design. Together they weave queer stories about grief, hope, rage, monsters, and the power of love. They are committed to writing non-colonial, anti-orientalist stories about better worlds and the intentionality of necessary violence.
