Suzanne Rudd

I write about girls growing up. Just like most, those years had their trials and successes for me. Books helped. I grew up reading Nancy Drew, Little House and Judy Blume books among many many others. Learning about others who were similar and different showed me a lot about the world and the kind of person I wanted to be. And it told me that no one got through school without some scars. I want to pay that knowledge forward by writing books for girls about different girls who have their own hurdles to jump and handle it, for better or worse, in their own way. The world would be really boring if everyone was the same. My girls go through difficulties, but learn to stay true to themselves.
