Andrew Celentano started composing on the piano at the age of 13. He attended MIT, studying electrical engineering, and ended up in technical sales at IBM. In 1995, Andrew started an internet agency, SkyWorld Interactive, at a time when many people did not have email addresses, nor did they know what a website was. He eventually sold the business to his employees and ended up on the technical consulting side, currently working as an innovation consultant in the medical device world. Over the last 20 years, he has been taking classical piano lessons and continues to compose and publicly perform. Fifteen years ago, Andrew founded the Symphony Cafe Players. They perform regularly in the restaurant at Boston Symphony Hall whenever the BSO is in town. In his spare time, Andrew teaches piano and performs at various venues throughout New England. "Playing Music from Memory" is his first book in a planned series and he will be working on more of them in the coming year.
