关于作者

Being an immigrant from Jamaica and a former college football player, I’m fascinated by the journeys we take as individuals that reveal our purpose. The common thread in my career has been bridging the gaps for those who need it the most, as a Director of the Boys and Girls Club, a Community Engagement Consultant for the My Brother’s Keeper Initiative, and in my role for one of the nation's first tech apprenticeships. My story is about seeing further by standing on the shoulders of giants, and gladly teaching what I am learning. I stand firmly on the shoulders of giants like my grandmother. From an early age, I knew I wanted to be like one person in my life–my grandmother. Her example of faithfulness through my formative years in Jamaica gave me the confidence to believe in the hope of Jesus. My work to bridge the gaps in our communities through mentorship and relevant resources is a testament to the faithfulness of my grandmother and other giants in my life who have allowed me to see further.
