My writing career began humbly in May of 2013, when I packed up everything I owned and moved from a ratty apartment in Columbus, Ohio to a Ford Econoline 150 in the Buckman neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. I wrote an award-winning column about proto-vanlife called "Vanifest Destiny" for Willamette Week, a local alt-weekly to which I've since contributed over 100 features. My work has also been included in Portland Monthly, Thrillist, Kerrang!, and handful of other publications. These days my dog and I split our time between the sandy shores of Lake Erie (Cleveland) and the drizzly streets of Portland. Keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming children's book about gentrification, coverage of the music scene in Northeast Ohio, and plenty of photos of sick vans (as always) \m/
