Hi! My name is Xavier Gómez, I'm a Latin American Bilingual Math Educator with a Bachelors Degree in Education from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
I've always felt very encouraged to help kids and teenagers learn math since its one of the most challenging subjects for them. My interest is that everyone feels welcome in my classroom and in my different projects that involve little minds learning.
Recently I found out that many Latino Kids have a huge gap of learning due to language difficulties but mostly because of cultural barriers.
We need more books that our Latino kids can read and feel involved in. Books that represent our culture, our background, our roots and language at the same time that opens them a new world of opportunities in the country they currently live.
I hope that with my book many families, schools, teachers but mostly Latino kids can learn.
