Clayton Sandell

Clayton Sandell became a massive Star Wars fan at age four, growing up to be an award-winning network television news producer and correspondent. He co-authored Star Wars Timelines for DK Publishing and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi: A Visual Archive for Insight Editions. His articles on visual effects and sound design are featured on the websites of Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound. Clayton is also the co-producer of the ABC News documentary The Force of Sound, a behind-the-scenes look at the sound design of The Last Jedi. His feature stories explore the far reaches of the Star Wars galaxy, taking audiences beyond the gates of Skywalker Ranch, inside Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound, and across the Star Wars fandom.
