Lee Fanning is a passionate storyteller specializing in educational films and books for young audiences, and has produced a varied body of work in numerous genres, mediums, formats and markets, including feature length films, shorts, television specials, web series, promos, docs and corporate video, as well as short stories, ebooks and print novels. His work has toured and been broadcast regionally, released on disc and at festivals nationally and streamed internationally on major platforms, and has featured collaborations with widely-recognized institutions, non-profits, artists, scientists, astronauts and politicians.
Fanning is also a former education producer for PBS-affiliate Alabama Public Television, and is the former Theater Manager/Chief Projectionist for the US Space and Rocket Center's 15/70 IMAX Dome and Flat Screen Digital theaters. While at the Rocket Center, Fanning also served as the Multimedia Producer for the museum as well as its internationally-recognized Space Camp programs.
Fanning is also a 3-time regional Emmy winner*, a 2-time national NETA award winner, and an active member of the Producers Guild of America.
