Matthew Steven Bracey

Matthew Steven Bracey serves as Vice Provost for Academic Administration and Assistant Professor of Theology and Culture at Welch College (2013–). Matthew holds degrees from Cumberland School of Law (J.D.), Beeson Divinity School (M.T.S.), and Welch College (B.A., History, Biblical Studies). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics Public Policy with a Christian Philosophy minor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is writing his dissertation on Edmund Burke and the moral imagination. Matthew has contributed to and/or edited four books; he has published dozens of academic and popular articles and book reviews; and he is co-founder and senior editor of the Helwys Society Forum (thehsf.com). Matthew is married to Sarah of eleven years.
