Jo Renfro

Jo is an author and illustrator. She loves to create stories and art that inspire imagination and positivity with humor and heart. She writes and illustrates picture books, gift books and greeting cards. She is a lifelong Kansan who finally took the leap and moved to Colorado to be near the beautiful Rocky Mountains. A mom of three, grandma to four (and counting) dog lover, hiker and backpacker. In 2014 she fulfilled her dream of thru hiking the Appalachain Trail. To say it was a life changer is an understatement. It gave her the courage to not only make the move from Kansas to Colorado, but also to dive into the world of Kidlit. Next to hanging out with her family and friends, and being outdoors, Jo loves anything sweet. Dang it! Caramel, birthday cake, candy...it's all fair game. Cantaloupe and black olives are a definite 'no way'. Her first author/illustrated picture book, "Peg Gets Crackin' ", will be out in spring of 2024, with the Peg's next adventure out in 2025! More stories are swirling around in her head so keep a look out!
