I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Wright State University, Dayton, OH, my Masters of Science degree in Microbiology & Immunology from Wright State University, and my Doctor of Education in Education Leadership with a concentration in technology from the University of Delaware, Newark, DE. I worked as a medical technologist at the Community Hospital of Springfield, OH before accepting a position as instructor at Wright State University in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. I later accepted a position at the University of Delaware. I retired from the University of Delaware as a full professor after 31 years. I maintain the rank of Professor Emeritus. I have published numerous papers in the field of microbiology, including forensic microbiology.
