Diana Nikolova has an MA from the English Philology Department of Sofia University St Kliment Ohridsky and MBA from SDA Bocconi, MIlan.
She was a shareholder in a translation company for 15 years, where she specialised in interpretation/translation services and project management for foreign companies, operating in Bulgaria. In 2013 Diana made an U-turn back to literature.
In 2014 she founded the publishing house Via Lettera Ltd with the idea to showcase that translation is a two-way street.
Diana has written five collections of folk stories - 'Folk Tales and Fables From Bulgaria' (2016), 'Myths and Legends From Bulgaria' (2019), 'Folk Tales From Italy' (2020), 'God Willing. Folk Tales and Legends' (2021), '100 Bulgarian Folk Tales' (2024).
