Growing up in the culturally vibrant city of Houston, Laura developed a strong appreciation for the arts and design. Her family, deeply committed to their faith, instilled in her a strong sense of purpose and a passion for serving others.
Laura’s career in graphic design began with a strong foundation in the family business. Early on, she worked alongside her family and coworkers, designing impactful ads for local businesses and creating community newsletters for subdivisions in Northwest and West Houston. This role not only honed her design skills but also deepened her connection to local communities and their unique needs.
After the closure of the family business in 2022, Laura continued to apply her graphic design expertise as a freelance designer in various projects, including the development of a local website. Her work is noted for its creativity and effectiveness, reflecting her deep commitment to her craft and her desire to contribute meaningfully to her community.
Laura has been married to her husband, Robert, for 24 years. Together, they have two beautiful daughters, who bring constant joy and pride to their lives, along with their beloved Goldendoodles, Beau and Riggins.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Laura has a deep love for dogs and often enjoys spending time with her furry friends. She also has a keen interest in floral arrangements, finding beauty and relaxation in creating and appreciating beautiful flower displays.
An avid reader, Laura is especially fond of mystery romance novels, which offer an escape into intriguing and captivating worlds. Her love for reading reflects her appreciation for storytelling and the arts.
