Born in a bustling city, my life took an unexpected turn when my mother, in search of a better life for us, made the difficult decision to leave my alcoholic father. I was just 3 years old when she packed up everything we owned and took me to the countryside, where my grandparents raised me in a small, close-knit village. From ages 3 to 10, the city became a distant memory. During that time, I roamed sprawling fields and spent quiet nights under starry rural skies. I missed my mother terribly as she struggled through a long and grueling divorce to secure our future. In those fragile years, I found solace in the colorful pages of activity books, losing myself in a world of imagination and creativity. At age 10, my mom finally won the battle, and we moved back into the apartment we once called home. But my years in the country left a lasting mark on me—they instilled in me a deep appreciation for the simple joys of childhood, where a book can transport you to another world and bring comfort in the loneliest moments. Since 2022, when my daughter was born, my childhood refuge in coloring and activity books has taken on new meaning. I was thrilled to discover that she, too, finds joy in coloring and exploring childhood books—the same delightful world that once served as my refuge. Now, as an author, I pour that same passion into every page, hoping that my creations bring young readers the same warmth, wonder, and joy that I found in those precious books so many years ago.
