Lisa Shurter is a teacher turned nurse who found herself at a crossroads in her career and not sure what to do next. Having always enjoyed writing, Lisa decided to embark on the journey of writing and self-publishing her first book. When pondering the many subjects that she was interested in, one thing kept coming to mind and that was teaching new watchers of football (Swifties!) about the game, hoping to turn them into true fans. A life-long fan of football, Lisa is hopeful to draw others in as fans as they learn more about the rules, player positions, and what is actually going on during the game. An educator at heart, Lisa is hoping that readers of her book will walk away having learned something. Lisa hopes to inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and try new things. You never know, you might just become an author one day… or a football aficionado!
