Jillian Wayne

A native of Washington State, I grew up with a competitive spirit honed through sports and a love for the outdoors, particularly running and hiking. My academic background as a Biology major took an unexpected turn into sales, but my passion for storytelling never wavered. I wanted to write a book since adolescence. As an avid reader with a deep love for fiction and a particular passion for fantasy, I've been influenced by authors Rebecca Yarros and Sarah J. Maas, When fantasy wasn't as prevalent I loved reading mysteries, like David Baldacci, Michael Crichton, and Nelson DeMille. Their works have fueled my own literary ambitions. While my first book is complete, I'm excited to explore fiction, with a focus on mysteries and science fiction/fantasy genres.

A proud mother of three, I balance my writing dreams with the joys and challenges of family life. The resilience I learned from competitive sports and my background in preparation have shaped my approach to both writing and motherhood.
