Born and raised in Northern Michigan, Wyatt developed a deep love for the outdoors. Inspired by his children and small family business, Michigan Whitetails LLC, he wrote Brave Little Branch and the Big, Wild Woods to share his family's passion of Michigan wildlife with young readers.
