Mary Beth Charles is "the Bonkers Biologist" because she's a (slightly batty!) wildlife biologist who found it hard to set aside work to focus on starting a family. But the sacrifice was worth it! She not only loves her kiddo, but she also loves teaching him everything she can about animals, nature, and the outdoors. She has a master's degree in wildlife management and has hands-on experience working with animals all over America... and the world! Over the course of her career implementing wildlife conservation projects, she's been privileged to encounter some fascinating creatures in person and observe their amusing behaviors up close. She just couldn't keep all those stories to herself, so she wrote them down to share with you, too! Enjoy!
