D. L. Bush grew up in a small Georgia town, but currently lives in Germantown, TN with her husband, four elderly cats (including one-eyed Piper), and a dog named Friscoe. She has two grown children. As an amateur genealogist, she hopes Buried Secrets of the Copper Locket will motivate and inspire young readers to begin their own fascinating genealogical journey into the past.
