Since she was a child, Lynette Marie has loved the feeling of opening the pages of a book and climbing in, allowing the story to surround her, taking her on adventures she never would have experienced in "real life". At nine-years-old, she wrote her first short story, starring a spider named, of all things, "Spideria". It was then her passion for writing was born. While Lynette sometimes dabbles in contemporary romance, her heart belongs in a time long past, and so most of her works are found in the genre of historical romance. Her belief is that romance is synonymous with love, that graphic details are not necessary, and the imagination is a much better agent for what goes on behind closed doors. That is not to say, however, that sexual tension does not play a large part in romantic tales. Sometimes, it is imperative. Lynette Marie is married with three children, the youngest of whom has special needs. She has written a memoir about him, "For the Love of Levi", available in Kindle as well as paperback.
