Marie-Luise Weiss

Marie-Luise Weiss is a children’s author, certified yoga instructor, Early Childhood Educator and certified Montessori Teacher from New Jersey. Inspired by her passion for music, dance, yoga, and the power of nature, she loves to encourage young children to feel the mood-boosting benefits of physical activity and connect with the natural world. As the author of her book Let’s Move Like the Animals in the Forest, Marie-Luise aims to uplift and educate children with a beautiful story that encourages them to be active and explore nature. She firmly believes that physical exercise and yoga are great ways to boost children’s happiness, help them regulate their emotions and stress levels, and prime their natural curiosity for learning. In her free time, Marie-Luise loves playing the guitar, practicing art, listening to music, and writing. She holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, and she attended the University of Graz, Austria and Padua, Italy to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Romance Studies. Marie-Luise teaches online classes to children around the world, as well as music and movement classes to children in daycares and preschools in her area. In 2024, she also started to work as an RBT, supporting and empowering children. Her second book, "Let's Move Like The Animals In The Arctic, " was published in May 2024. Katalin Gyovai is a children's book illustrator from Budapest, Hungary. She has been interested in children's book illustration since her first job after secondary school as a seller at a children's bookshop. She feels a strong desire to create new stories, words and characters and adores the wonderful and cute world of children’s book illustrations. Mauro Lirussi/Mooncow Studios is a children's book illustrator and author from Argentina.
