Marlene Cullen is passionate about encouraging people to write, especially those who think they can’t write. Her series of books, The Write Spot, features writing that entertains as well as inspires writing. Every story, vignette, and poem in The Write Spot books include writing prompts motivating readers to become writers. Growing up in the Mission District of San Francisco offers a treasure chest of stories for Marlene to write about. Living in the same Northern California farm house with her husband since 1977 and raising three wonderful children on their rural property provides a rich bounty of cherished and tender memories to turn into stories, some have been featured The SF Writers Conference anthologies, Redwood Writers anthologies, and The Write Spot anthologies.
