Plato Pathrose studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at the University of Kerala, India. He started his career as a software design & development engineer and has worked on safety-critical automotive and avionics products. He is well experienced in system engineering and led multiple systems engineering teams in requirement generation, integration, verification, and validation. He worked on multiple projects where ADAS and Automated driving systems were developed and deployed in different passenger and commercial vehicles. He has been supporting various organizations as a consultant, including government organizations, in defining regulatory requirements and guidelines for the deployment of automated driving vehicles. He has been an advisor to multiple organizations as technical and strategic expertise for developing ADAS and Automated driving systems. He has also been helping a few organizations in positioning their services and products around the ADAS domain in different markets. Beyond the technical background, he is a process and methods specialist. He is a lean six sigma expert and a TRIZ practitioner who helps organizations with coaching and consulting in their process and methods improvement in system development and testing. He is a certified Automotive SPICE Assessor, Project management professional, and Agile coach who helps organizations transform to an agile ecosystem with digitalization. He is also a technology speaker for different events and a few technology papers published in his name. He was born and brought up in Trivandrum, a city in the southern part of India, and lives in Germany, along with his wife and son. He is a professional flutist who is passionate about music and a traveler.
