Not thinking and a little flustered by the whole experience, I reply, “I’d wrap my legs around his waist tighter than that leash.”

THAT'S when she reveals that she'd been recording my response.
THAT'S when she gives me the most devilish grin I've ever seen and says, “You're welcome.”
And THAT'S when she hands me my phone and reveals...

She sent the recording to him.

My heart is in my throat as those three little dots appear…
Then a text.

Oh my gosh! Look at this cover! In the case the old adage, “Never judge a book by its cover” fully applies. It’s as hot and steamy as the cover is! The plot and the characters are so well together. It all just works. I loved the banter and humor of the first meeting and the book was just as fun to read and the cover is to look at. This is the first book of this author’s that I have read and I am so glad that I have found her.

    While this story is not as dark or dangerous as most of the others, it was very entertaining. I really enjoyed the heat and chemistry between Samuil and Nova, the humor, and the animal interactions. Still a great mafia inspired story!

    This book was so good, it had me laughing right from the start of a Great Dane called Rufus.
    All the twists and turns in the book, the 6 degrees of separation.
    You will understand when you read such a gem of a book.

    I honestly can't decide if in love or hate this book.
    Some bits are great and then other bits are just a bit "blur".
    I knew it was a couple of books but I feel like there is no way forward as there isn't even a slither of trust. And yes, I know it's a mafia book but I'm struggling to see how this could carry on with the 2 main characters.
